Mikey Xodus Creating Magic with His Music

Mikey Xodus born Michael Campbell in Clarendon, Jamaica, continues to work his musical magic from his home in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.  ‘Feels Like Magic’ his latest single produced by Donbass Music Productions, was released on June 10, 2022, and Mikey Xodus is ready to hit the stage again after two years of COVID lockdown.

Before the pandemic, singer/songwriter Mikey Xodus was gracing the stage at venues and events for nine years in Atlanta. The artist is known for his soulful, compelling, and captivating ability to deliver a powerful melody with his vocals.

Mikey Xodus fell in love with singing at age five and became enamored with different musical genres. Mikey had the guiding influences of his Big Brother Donavon (Don-T), a bass guitarist who plied his skills with the prominent Clarendon, Jamaica-based Solid Earth band. Don-T mentored Xodus to work diligently and excel in his vocal abilities.

In Jamaica, Mikey Xodus performed under his first stage name Otari Xodus, the young singer worked with many renowned producers like Lloyd Evans, owner of Music Mountain studio, Castro Brown, and Sly Dunbar. Mikey’s most noted song released during that time was a thrilling cover of Billy Ocean’s ‘Suddenly’ and an original titled ‘Tell Me How You Want It’.

Mikey Xodus migrated to New York, USA, and immediately started searching for musicians with the intent to get his name out on local events and in the New York music crowd. He recorded and released cover versions of Anne Murray’s ‘You Needed Me’ and Don Williams ‘I Believe in You’. He got rave reviews for the masterful way he mixed reggae and soul into a potent blend of beautiful harmony.

In 2009 Mikey Xodus released his debut album ‘No Illusion’ and the record solidified him as a talented artist who constantly thank God for blessing him with his talent. “I am a serious artist that thanks the creator for blessing me with this ability,” he said. “I love what I do, and I work passionately to deliver just the right combination of artistry and emotions in my music”.

‘Feels Like Magic’ is now available on all leading online stores and people can check out the new video available on youtube. Follow and support Mikey Xodus on Instagram @mikey_xodus and youtube @ https://youtu.be/y61w-oqeNLg
