“After listening to the song several times, I fell in love with it because the lyrical content brought me to a place where I found myself communicating with God,” he shared. “I truly believe that this song could do well in the world today with all of the negativity that exists. This song also reminds me that the Almighty never leaves us, even though we often leave Him.”
Timmy Love’s rendition of “Why” blends smooth, soulful tones with a reggae-inspired groove, staying true to the original’s emotional depth while infusing it with a distinctly Jamaican rhythm. The single was produced by Dwayne Morris, Timmy’s musical director, with vocal arrangement by Sidney Mills, and background vocals by Joanne Williams. The track also features Alexander Mosely, guitarist from the legendary group Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, and was mixed and mastered by Paul “Computer Paul” Henton—a team of seasoned professionals who bring the song to life with precision and heart.
