Sandy Daley is setting airwaves ablaze across Canada and the U.S., becoming an unstoppable force in modern media. With her sharp wit, magnetic personality, and unapologetic style, Daley is now a staple on Roadblock Radio, SupaJamz Radio, and Energy Radio. Talks are also underway to bring her voice to Reggae North Radio, extending her reach even further.
At the heart of this media momentum is Daley’s hit show The Daley Grind with Sandy Daley, where entertainment news, celebrity gossip, and candid commentary collide. Critics have drawn comparisons to Wendy Williams’ iconic The Wendy Williams Experience, a parallel Daley acknowledges with gratitude and pride. “I loved Wendy’s show, and I can see the similarity,” she says. “However, I know that I bring my own flavor to radio… She was a definite boss lady.”
This summer, Daley will take her talents to the live stage as she hosts the Festival of Life in Chicago from July 11th to 13th. The event will feature reggae heavyweights like Elephant Man and Jah Vinci. In addition to emceeing, Daley will also serve as the festival’s online host, continuing her commitment to both entertainment and community engagement.
Her talents stretch well beyond the mic. As a multifaceted creative, Daley has starred in numerous productions, including Another Planet, a groundbreaking Canadian film by Christene Browne. She’s graced stages and screens across North America and the Caribbean, hosted high-profile events, and interviewed stars such as Nigy Boy, Oliver Samuels, and Carlene Davis. Her signature blend of warmth and assertiveness has won fans everywhere.
Daley’s celebrated column Real Talk with Sandy ran from 2008 to 2014, earning her the Spirit Award for Favorite Columnist in 2009 at Citi Field, New York. Her self-empowerment book Whose Vagina Is It, Really? has seen two editions, the latter released in 2024. The stage adaptation of the first book, along with her second play Chronicles of a Black Woman, garnered rave reviews at the Toronto Fringe Festival.
She’s also made her mark behind the scenes as a screenwriter with credits like Daddy’s Not Around: DNA and The Wright Girl, both centered on Black leads. Her advocacy work includes founding the Whose Body Is It, Really? Empowerment Symposium, focused on preventing sexual violence. Her upcoming documentary I Can’t Be the Only One, now in post-production, addresses the systemic barriers faced by women of color in the workplace.
From weekly livestreams to major festivals and social advocacy, Sandy Daley remains a dynamic force across all platforms. With her comedic timing, fearless voice, and relentless work ethic, she’s not just shaping conversations—she’s leading them.
