Durham Caribbean Festival Virtual Celebration

The organizers of the Durham Caribbean Festival recently announced that the 2021 rendition of the event will be celebrated virtually this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and group gathering restrictions. On Sunday, June 27th, 2021, the event in celebration of Canada’s Multicultural Day will broadcast live on social media platforms as well as www.durhamcaribbeanfestival.com.

Supporters of the festival will be able to watch and join the celebration on Real Life Matters airing on Bell Fibe TV Channel 658, Optimum TV Channel 1101 and across the entire Caribbean on Caribvision TV. The event will also be featured on Rogers TV on the Carion Fenn Show, highlighting the festivals Market Place, and performances from Juno Award winning artists.

Spearheaded by the Caribbean Event Organization of Ontario, the  Durham Caribbean Virtual Festival is officially presented by Celebrate Canada and TD Bank Group. The event offers many opportunities to reach various markets in the community through a combination of segments targeting the media, trade, consumers, and the Caribbean Diaspora to celebrate the sights, sounds, colours, culture and unique vacation experiences of the Caribbean.

Tourism Officials, the media, artistes, performers, celebrity chefs, sponsors and strategic partners will participate in this virtual festival, which for the first time, can be seen worldwide. The Durham Caribbean Festival is asking everyone for their support in celebrating this historical event, filled with an abundance of fun filled activities showcasing Caribbean Culture.
