In 2021, Zackious Cooper released his album ‘Lover’s Rock’. The 15-songs collection included classic remakes of Gregory Issacs ‘All I have is Love’ and ‘Love is Overdue’. Since then, fans worldwide and in the United Kingdom have asked the artists to record a rendition of Issac’s Classic ‘My Number One’ and Zackious Cooper delivered.
“The request for a remake of ‘My Number One’ was overwhelming, and I felt honoured knowing people were embracing my work and supporting what I am doing,” Cooper said. “I enjoy pleasing my fans, so remaking this track was a no-brainer.”
‘My Number One’ has been available on all digital platforms since May 14th, and Zackious Cooper is pleased with the buzz and response to the new single from fans and radio DJs. “My Public Relations people in the UK have told me that the radio stations and listeners love the song and keep asking if I was related to Gregory Issacs,” he said.
Warrior Love Band provided the music on the track, and it was mixed and mastered at PRIMROX Studio. ‘My Number One’ is produced by Smooth Ruler Productions.
