Jamaican radio announcer Richard “Richie B” Burgess will be in Toronto, Canada, Sunday, September 18th having his 2022 birthday celebration at the Central Bar and Grill, 2007 Lawrence Ave, West.
Richie B, the party master out of Kingston, celebrates his actual birthday on September 19th but will be hosting Richie B’s Birthday Bash on the 18th in Toronto with a few of his celebrity friends. Guests include reggae crooner Anthony Cruz, Rad Dixon, and 2022 JUNO award winner 14-year-old Kairo Mclean, all performing live at the event.
Richie B has been one of the top radio broadcasters on Jamaican radio for many years. His voice was heard across the Island and beyond on stations like the now-defunct JBC (Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation), RJR, HOT 102 FM, MELLO FM, and THE EDGE 105 FM. Richie B now plies his trade on Jamaica’s newest radio station, BRIDGE 99FM, Monday to Friday from 6 am to 10 am on ‘Up & Go with Richie”.
Richie B’s Birthday Bash is co-sponsored by Tasjay Productions and the BRIDGE 99FM. DJ Spida and DJ Ritz will provide music for the night, and DJ Red from Flow 987 FM will be the host of the event.
