P’damore Releases New EP

‘Take me There’, an EP from singer P’damore, will be released on March 20. It comes almost one year after ‘In These Times’, his first album. The Toronto-based artist went all-out for a fresh sound on the six-song project with a primary objective.

“I am trying to reach a younger audience with these songs, because it is important to sound current,” said P’damore.

‘Thank You Jah Jah’ and ‘Mama me Find the Right Person’ are the previously released songs from the EP.

The title track, ‘Think Out the Box’, ‘Your Mistake’ and ‘Telephone Love’ are the other songs on ‘Take me There’. The latter is a collaboration with Sylvan Spark.

P’damore is from Trelawny parish in western Jamaica. He began his recording career as Mr. Vigorous, recording songs like ‘False Money’ and ‘Mi Know Shame’ in the 1990s.

Frustrated with his failure to hit the charts, P’damore stepped away from the music business and settled into a nine-to-five job. But four years ago, the music big bit him a second time. He re-emerged as P’damore after discovering that another artist had the moniker, Mr. Vigorous.

Since then, he has recorded several songs for producers in Canada, the United States and Jamaica.
