Though he is a roots-man at heart, singer Quara Ahnya always makes time for the ladies. Which he does with his latest song One For You, produced by Yaad Flame Productions.
“I love R&B music, so some of my songs will have that feel to it. This song, I would say, is speaking to couples to strengthen their bond of love. It’s a song of diversity that can relate to any community or market,” he said. One For You is the Rastafarian artist’s first song for 2021.
Previously known as Ras Ikan. he became Quara Ahnya three years ago and went for a different musical direction on songs like No One and Rasta. He believes his growth as an artist and person is evident in his music.
“When I first started music, I was a boy with no real-life experience. As I grew into a man I learned more about life and the struggles and happiness that love can bring,” he said. “By incorporating my life lessons, I used my lyrical ability to create my unique sound which brought forth smoother melodies because it’s coming from years of gained wisdom,” Quara Ahnya explained.
