The reggae and creative arts community is mourning the loss of Authur Stephen Daley, affectionately known as King Arts, who passed away on Friday, August 29th, at the William Osler Health Center in Brampton after a battle with skin cancer. He was 58.
Born in England, King Arts moved to Canada with his family in 1980, where he built a legacy as both an artist and entrepreneur. As the founder and driving force behind King Arts Creations, he became a known name in reggae circles and the wider design world. His company specialized in photography, web development, and multimedia design, with his signature style gracing countless album covers, Electronic Press Kits (EPKs), business cards, banners, posters, and flyers.
Daley is survived by his son Joel and other family members. Funeral details will be shared as they become available.
