Dancehall artiste Frass Khalifa is in an upbeat mood as he promotes his new single titled ‘Jah Alone’. The song which was produced by Pandemic Records was released in July. Since then, it has been enjoying strong rotation both locally and abroad.
“I am very happy with the response that this song is receiving. It’s getting great support from DJs all over the world. It’s also generating a huge buzz in the streets,” said the artiste.
The Trelawny-based deejay said the song was inspired by real-life events. “I’ve seen a lot of people hustling daily just to make two ends meet and sometimes no matter how hard they try they still fail to achieve their goal. Sometimes failure is inevitable, but you still can’t give up. That’s why I always call on Jah through the good and the bad times. Jah is the driving force in my life,” said the artiste.
Frass Khalifa recently shot a video for ‘Jah Alone’. The video, which was filmed at various locations in Falmouth, Trelawny under the guidance of Rodrick Blair of RGM Productions was released on October 3.
“I had a great time working with RGM Productions on this video. They did a great job creating a video which depicts the message of the song. Since it was released, I have gotten a lot of positive reviews about it,” said Frass Khalifa. The hardworking deejay is currently in the studios working on new projects.
