Exco Levi Takes Center Stage Tonight at Jamaica Festival Song Presentation Show

As the excitement builds for the 2023 Jamaica Festival Song competition, one Canadian artist is capturing the attention of reggae enthusiasts and music lovers alike. Exco Levi, a talented singer-songwriter hailing from Canada, is set to showcase his exceptional skills and passion for reggae music on the grand stage.  

With his entry titled ‘Feel like Home’, Exco Levi aims to bring a unique blend of cultural pride and musical excellence to this prestigious competition. Exco Levi’s entry serves as a powerful anthem celebrating the spirit of unity and cultural pride. The song’s infectious rhythm and heartfelt lyrics transport listeners to the vibrant streets of Jamaica, evoking a sense of nostalgia and belonging. 

Let’s Cheer the five-times JUNO winner on in The Jamaica Festival Song Presentation Show happening today, Thursday, July 6, 2023, 8:00 p.m. (9 pm EST)., at the Courtleigh Auditorium. Watch the 11 Finalists perform LIVE! 

The winning song will be selected following two televised shows on July 6 and 29 on TVJ and PBCJ. There’s a prize of $3 million for the winning entry to be shared among the producer, the writer, and the singer. 

The 11 finalists in this year’s Festival Song Competition are: Slashe, Best in The World; Mento Tones, Jamaica Mi Born & Grow; Av&ante, Jamaica a Mi Yaad; Lady Denna & the Whole Note Mento Band, Little Paradise; Hot Rod, More Love; Shuga, Dancing Same Way; N-Rich, Sovereignty; Princess Black, Big up Mama Ja; Prince Fabulous, No Weh Like Yard; Eric Donaldson, Reggae Jamaica and Exco Levi, Feel like Home. 

The Jamaica Festival Song Competition is set to coincide with the country’s Emancipation and Independence celebration, adding to the festivities and cultural pride that mark this special time of the year.
