Causion Enjoys Another Sunny Day

Causion, Antigua’s official Reggae Ambassador, shows more love for his country with ‘Sunny Day’, a song scheduled for release on April 26. He co-produced it with veteran keyboardist Maurice Gregory, his longtime collaborator.

An easy-listening reggae number, ‘Sunny Day’ will be used as part of Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism campaign, which is led by Elite Island Resorts. Causion also worked with that company on ‘Caribbean Vacation’, another promotional track, that was released in 2024.

Causion, who has lived in South Florida for many years, visits Antigua frequently. He never tires of writing and singing about his homeland.

“Love, faith and gratitude to be from such an amazing country. Love, that’s the highest frequency and the message I convey throughout my music. Love where you’re from, honor your family, love yourself and love the ability to discover your purpose on this Earth,” Causion reasoned.

He added that his relationship with Elite Island Resorts transcends business.

“We’re in the business of creating a legacy together,” said the singer, who also expressed love for his country on ‘Antigua Me Come From’, released in 2023.

Last November, Causion was honored by Antigua and Barbuda with the Commander of The Most Precious Order of Princely Heritage (CH), the country’s fourth-highest award. He received the designation during Independence Day celebrations at the National Stadium in St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda’s capital.
