Alaine, Pressure Busspipe Join in Releases From no Better Riddim

Ghetto Youths International has officially announced the roll-out of No Better Riddim, a dynamic reggae compilation and juggling project produced by Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Damian “Jr Gong” Marley.

According to the label, the decision comes on the heels of the successful release of Jemere Morgan’s uplifting single, “Know Better.”

Built around the same musical foundation as Morgan’s release, the No Better Riddim” embraces the rich Jamaican tradition of juggling projects, bringing together multiple artistes whose aim is to interpret the same rhythm through their own unique stories, melodies, and perspectives.

The next chapter of the project arrives with two standout additions from some of reggae’s most respected voices. Songstress Alaine joins the compilation with “Love Again,” a soulful and uplifting ballad that explores healing, resilience, and the transformative power of love.

“We can choose better for ourselves, and we all deserve to take the chance to love again,” she added.

As one of the featured tracks on “No Better Riddim,” “Love Again” delivers the signature blend of romance, melody, and authenticity that has made Alaine a favourite among reggae audiences worldwide. With its universal message and contemporary reggae-R&B sensibility, the single is poised to resonate strongly with female listeners and lovers of modern Caribbean music alike.

Meanwhile, Pressure Busspipe adds to the project with So Amazing.” Widely celebrated for his ability to blend roots reggae with heartfelt lovers’ rock, the entertainer uses the song to celebrate and uplift women at a time when positive portrayals are often overshadowed by negativity within popular music.

“Life, in itself, is inspiring, and what I realised in times like these, we need to uplift our queens, especially in a musical world where it’s so popular to call a woman ‘out of her name’,” Pressure Busspipe said. “If we can keep reminding them of who they are, then they will show up as such and start to demand the respect they deserve.”

Driven by rich melodies, island warmth, and uplifting lyrics, “So Amazing” channels the same heartfelt energy that made songs such as ‘Love and Affection” fan favourites.

The track further demonstrates the versatility of “No Better Riddim” while reinforcing the compilation’s broad appeal among reggae and reggae-fusion audiences.

Produced by Damian Marley, it reflects Ghetto Youths International’s continued commitment to music rooted in positivity, consciousness and authentic storytelling. While each artiste approaches the rhythm from a different perspective, the songs are united by themes of love, self-reflection, healing and empowerment.

The complete “No Better Riddim” compilation will continue rolling out through June 2026, further expanding the project’s reach across streaming platforms, radio, selector culture, and reggae communities worldwide.
