Renowned Jamaican/Canadian singer Winston Paddy has released his much-anticipated second album, ‘For the Ladies’. Officially launched on June 12, 2024, the ten-track album is available on all leading online platforms and was produced by his own Indeka Production label.
Living up to its title, ‘For the Ladies’ is a heartfelt homage to classic love songs and timeless ballads. Paddy offers his unique take on beloved hits like ‘You and Your Smiling Face’, ‘Betcha by Golly Wow’, and ‘You’re My Latest’, ‘My Greatest Inspiration’. These songs are complemented by seven other tracks that exude romance and charm, including ‘Send for Me’, ‘Extra Careful’, ‘Asking for Love’, ‘Riding for a Fall’, ‘I’m Falling in Love with You’, ‘I Want to Be Your Man’, and ‘I’ll Do Anything for You’.
“The songs on this album were specifically chosen with the ladies in mind,” Paddy said, emphasizing the album’s intention to resonate with its audience on an emotional level.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Winston Paddy’s musical journey has been shaped by influences from both local and international artists. His passion for music is evident in his words: “I am music, and music is me. Music has always been a part of my life,” he said.
This album is followed by his latest release ‘Lead Me On’, and fans can look forward to even more from Paddy. He is currently in the studio crafting new material set to be released in 2025.
