International recording artiste Tuff Like Iron is in an upbeat mood as she promotes her new single titled ‘Sometimish’. The song which was produced by Jah T Jr and HotSteppa Records was released along with a video on June 29.
“My new single is doing well; I am getting a lot of positive feedback about it from my fans and music industry insiders. My team and I believe it has the potential to be a hit and we’re putting a lot of promotion behind it to ensure its success,” she said.
The multitalented talented singer who is also a fashion designer and model said the song was inspired by real-life experiences. “I’ve been in situations where I’ve given my all to people who didn’t deserve it. At the time when I was so busy doing everything for those so-called friends, I thought they were genuine but eventually, I found out that they weren’t. Life is like that sometimes, there are a lot of users and fake people out there.”
She added, “I wrote this song to inspire other persons who find themselves in similar situations to cut ties and move on keep on making progress and live their best lives. Life is too short to spend it being miserable and unhappy. I love to live stylishly and dance and have fun. I love being happy.”
Tuff Like Iron also revealed that she’s getting ready to go on a mini tour of California later this month which will include performances at the Klamath Festival in Klamath and King Iver’s Reggae Thursdays in San Francisco.
“I’m looking forward to hitting the road very soon to perform and share my music with music lovers in California. It’s always a wonderful experience getting out there performing and sharing the message and the joy that reggae music brings with the people,” she said.
