Dancehall recording artiste Trueace is celebrating the success of his latest music video for the track ‘Badman Rock’. The official visuals, which was directed by Aktive Record and filmed on location in Toronto, Canada, were released on May 29.
‘Badman Rock’ formed part of the artiste’s EP ‘Grandeza’. Produced by Aktive Record in collaboration with Wallstreet Records, the project was officially released on October 18, 2024.
“The concept for the video was inspired by the essence of a vibrant basement party — a nod to the roots of dancehall culture. It captures high energy party vibes, and an authentic street aesthetic that reflects the spirit of the song,” the artiste said.
The EP features five other tracks — ‘Better Days’, ‘Control, Sinner’, ‘Chosen’, and ‘Surgical’. It has been well-received by dancehall fans since the release. From viral dance routines to major kudos on the airwaves, the EP has given new and old fans an exciting taste of his musical chops.
“I’m focused on maintaining momentum with consistent content — new visuals, ongoing music promotion, and fresh releases. Fans can expect a continuous stream of creativity,” Trueace said.
With the success of the release, the artiste is keeping the energy going with more in store for music lovers to enjoy in the coming months.
