Reggae singer extraordinaire Stevie Face is excited and ready to perform for his fans in the UK once again. The ‘Tell It Like It Is’ singer is booked to perform at the VIBES FM anniversary concert on Friday, September 15 at the Electric in Brixton, England.
The lineup for this event also includes Lukie D, Janet Kay, Carroll Thompson, the Mafia and Fluxy Band, Kahpun and True Identity.
This will be his first appearance in the UK since 2019 and he plans to make it a memorable one. “I’m truly excited about my upcoming performance in the UK it’s been long overdue. The last time I performed in the UK was 2019 and I would have returned the following year for a series of shows but that never happened because of the pandemic. However, I plan to make up for lost time by delivering an unforgettable performance for my fans on Friday night at the Electric,” he said.
The silky smoothed voice singer recently recorded a reggae cover of NSYNC’s hit single ‘This I Promise You’ which was released in 2000. Stevie Face’s version of the song was produced by popular radio disc jock Ainsworth ‘Big A’ Higgins and is slated to be released in October.
‘This Time I Promise You’ is very a soulful and beautiful song. It’s one of my favorite NSYNC songs so I decided to do a reggae version of it and the feedback that I am getting about it is very positive. It’s not officially released yet but it’s already generating a lot of airplay,” said Stevie Face.
Stevie Face is also getting ready to launch his Advanced Music label and studio which is based in his hometown of Yallahs, St. Thomas.
