FLOW 98.7FM (CKFG-FM) has unveiled a refreshed programming lineup designed to deepen its connection with Toronto’s diverse communities, introducing new voices, familiar personalities, and fan-favourite features across its schedule.

Announced on Friday, June 5, the new lineup officially launched on Monday, June 8, marking a significant new chapter for Canada’s only Black-owned and operated commercial radio station.

Leading the changes is the debut of “Mornings with Patricia J & Spex,” airing weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. The new morning show brings together two highly respected media personalities with deep roots in broadcasting and community engagement.

Patricia Jaggernauth joins the station’s morning lineup as one of Canada’s most accomplished media figures. Known for her work across television, radio, journalism, and public engagement, Jaggernauth brings decades of experience and a reputation as one of the country’s most versatile broadcasters.

Joining her is Spex, one of the original voices of FLOW 98.7FM and a foundational member of the station’s on-air team. Widely recognized as Canada’s Reggae Ambassador, Spex has long been a champion of Caribbean culture, reggae music, and community initiatives, helping to build strong connections with audiences across the country.

Together, Patricia J and Spex are expected to deliver a morning show that blends entertainment, information, culture, and community-focused conversations, offering listeners a fresh and authentic start to their day.

The launch of the new program replaces the previous morning team of Ace & Marlon and represents one of the station’s most notable programming changes in recent years.

Station officials say the refreshed lineup reflects FLOW 98.7FM’s ongoing commitment to serving Toronto’s diverse communities while continuing to evolve its programming to meet the interests of its growing audience.

The new schedule is now available across the station’s broadcast and digital platforms.
