Up-and-coming fusion artiste Jourdan does not believe in limiting himself to anyone one genre of music.
“My musical style is undefined because I am inspired by a variety of genres and cultures and sub-cultures. So, I’ll produce whatever I am inspired by at that moment when I am in the creative zone,” said the artiste.
The Manchester-born artiste says he draws most of his musical inspiration from music that was created in the 1990s. “There’s something special about the music that was created in the 90s. You feel a different kind of energy when you listen to artistes from that era. Shaggy, Sean Paul, Maxwell, Donnel Jones, Shania Twain, and Craig David are some of my favorite 90s artistes,” said Jourdan.
The Mandeville-born singer is currently promoting a new single titled ‘Easy’ The song which was produced by Jay Edge was released in October last year on the JAW imprint.
“This is the first single off my album titled ‘Hypnotized’ which was released in October 2022. This song and some of the other songs on the album are getting support from DJs in Jamaica, Europe, the USA, and other parts of the world,” he said.
Jourdan given name Joel Jordan Reid was born and raised in Mandeville, Manchester. He’s a graduate of May Day High School.
Jourdan launched his recording career in 2022 with the release of a single album titled ‘Hypnotized’ on the JAW label.
