Anthony Cruz has completed production on his latest album, scheduled to be released by Tad’s International Record this year. That company also produced the project. Unlike ‘Under the Covers’, his previous album, the upcoming set comprises original songs.
According to the singer, the yet-titled album may be his most creative in terms of writing.
“Wi went into a deeper meditation, the topics are far more spiritual. These are topics I have never dealt with before,” said Cruz. He did not disclose those topics but named some of the songs including ‘One Love One Heart’ and ‘Child of The King’.
It will be Cruz’ first album since the release of ‘Under the Covers’ in April 2023. Also released by Tad’s International Record, that set includes reggae renditions of soul and pop hits like The Miracles ‘I Second That Emotion’, The Isley Brothers’ ‘For the Love of You’ and Alexander O’Neal’s ‘If You Were Here Tonight’.
Prior to the new album, Cruz is preparing to release the self-produced single, ‘Dem Bad Mind’.
