Jamaican dancehall rising star Natebadz has been making global waves since his introduction to music by his older brother, international dancehall icon Popcaan.
With his latest single, ‘Family First,’ making rounds across social media and the airwaves, Natebadz is now levelling up with a bold international collaboration, ‘Mazza,’ featuring UK rap stars Not3s and ML. The track officially drops on July 10, with a pre-release available now.
Merging his Jamaican flavour and raw vocal style with a UK drill-inspired beat, Natebadz taps into a new audience while staying grounded in his roots. The track explores themes of loyalty, lifestyle, and staying true to your ‘day ones’ — and Natebadz makes his mark with a commanding third verse that brings Caribbean grit and clarity to the collaboration.
Interestingly, the track’s title carries a subtle nod to Buju Banton’s iconic single ‘Driver’ —a hint that showcases the young artiste’s musical awareness, versatility, and willingness to explore sounds and cultural cues across generations.
“It’s a blessing to link with Not3s and ML on this one,” Natebadz shared. “I’ve been to the UK, done shows, connected with people, but now being on this beat with two of their own, it’s like I’m planting my flag. Not3s, known for chart-topping hits like ‘Addison Lee’ and ‘My Lover,’ brings his signature Afroswing style, while ML, the rising son of UK rap icon Giggs, adds lyrical sharpness and emotional depth.
