In the wake of the catastrophic Category 5 Hurricane Melissa, large parts of Jamaica have been left in ruins. Homes, communities, and livelihoods have been devastated — but the spirit of resilience remains unbroken. Now, Jamaicans at home and abroad are coming together to rebuild and restore the island they love.
Jamaica needs us now more than ever. In response to this national crisis, members of the Jamaican community in Canada have stepped forward to make a difference. Some of Canada’s most talented artists are lending their voices and their hearts to lead “Hope for Jamaica: A Community Hurricane Relief Concert” — a night of unity, healing, and support.

The event — HOPE FOR JAMAICA — will be held under the distinguished patronage of Her Excellency Marsha Coore-Lobban, High Commissioner of Jamaica to Canada, on Thursday, November 6th, at the Jamaican Canadian Association, located at 995 Arrow Road, Toronto.
Doors open at 5 p.m., with showtime at 6 p.m.
Admission: $25.
Guests can look forward to an unforgettable evening filled with powerful performances, vibrant energy, and delicious Jamaican cuisine — all in support of a vital cause.
For those who cannot attend, donations are still welcome. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps rebuild homes, restore communities, and bring hope back to Jamaica.
