UK-based record producer turned artiste Lorna D’Angel believes that her experience as a producer will help her to deal with the challenges of being a recording artiste.
“I’ve been in the music business for quite some time. At first, I worked as an events promoter before venturing into music production in 2020. So, I have a great deal of experience dealing with other areas of the business. I believe this experience coupled with my natural business acumen will help me to achieve great success as a recording artiste,” she said.
Lorna Da’Angel made her recording debut in 2022 with the release of a single titled ‘Hot Gyal Step Out’.
“I must admit I was very nervous when I went into the recording booth for the first time. However, with the encouragement of my team, I was able to pull it off and record my first single. When it was released, I got a lot of positive feedback from family members, friends, and my colleagues in the music business.”
She is currently promoting her latest single which is titled ‘Dolli Body’ on the Hot Sauce rhythm. The song which was produced by the artiste for her Miles Ahead Entertainment imprint was released late last year.
“I am very happy with the response that my new single is receiving. It’s getting a lot of rotation in various parts of the world including England, Jamaica, France, Holland, Germany, the US, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe,” said Lorna Da’Angel.
Lorna Da’Angel given name Lorna Miles launched her Miles Ahead Entertainment imprint in 2020 with the release of a various artiste’s album titled Atlantic Buzz which featured songs from artistes such as Little Lenny, Little Kirk, Ras Charmer and Thesarus.
