Kirk Diamond, Kairo Mclean & Finn Wins Reggae Recording of the Year at 2023 JUNO Awards

Congratulations to Kirk Diamond, Kairo Mclean, and Finn on winning the Reggae Recording of the Year for their single ‘Reggae Party’ at the 2023 JUNO opening night awards in Edmonton, Alberta.

‘Reggae Party’, which was released on September 15th, 2022, has captured the attention of fans in Canada and beyond, creating a buzz in music circles. This win marks Kirk Diamond’s second JUNO award win, having won his first award in 2018 for the EP ‘Greater’. Diamond, who is fast becoming one of Canada’s reggae stars, has been nominated for the JUNO awards four times.

Kairo Mclean, the 14-year-old sensation, won his second JUNO award following his 2022 debut EP ‘Easy Now’, which received the 2022 JUNO award for Reggae Recording of the Year, making him the youngest person in JUNO’s history to receive the recognition. Fans are eagerly awaiting his upcoming album ‘Reciprocity’.
