Florida-based Jamaican-born recording artiste Jah Single has his eyes firmly placed on the international music scene.
“I want to touch the lives of millions of people worldwide with my music. I want to achieve the type of success that will enable me to help other artistes rise to the top. I also want to be able to help people outside the music industry through philanthropic work and investments,” said the artiste.
The talented singjay who hails from March Pen Road, in Spanish Town describes his musical style as reggae fusion.
“My music is a unique blend of reggae and dancehall fused with other genres such as Afrobeats, Hip Hop and RnB. I could have done just reggae and dancehall, but I want to make music that will resonate with an international audience,” said Jah Single.
He is currently promoting his new single titled ‘Uber Boy’ which is one the featured tracks on his eighth track EP, ‘In My Element’, which was released in July.
“My new single is doing well it’s getting a lot of support from DJs in various parts of the world including Jamaica, the US, Africa and Europe. It’s also streaming well on YouTube and Spotify. I plan to boost its promotion by dropping a video later this month,” he said.
Jah Single given name Evroy Lawes was born in Manchester, but he grew up in Spanish Town. He is a past student of Kemps Hill High School. Jah Single launched his recording career in 2019 with a single titled ‘Pillion’ which was produced by Ransom Beats. Some of his other songs are ‘Mow Down’, ‘In My Element’ and ‘Bravo’.
