Recording artiste Jah Innocent is determined to make his mark on the local music scene.
“As a versatile artiste that is always thinking outside of the box, I have created a hot new sound that is going to take the music world by storm. It is a grimy melodic fusion of reggae and dancehall music,” he said.
The Manchester-born deejay who resides in Connecticut is currently promoting a new single titled ‘Nuttin to Prove’. The song which was produced by Zihking Music was released along with a video on June 23.
“This song is generating a lot of buzz in the streets. Based on the response that it is receiving I am confident that it will be a hit. My team and I are working overtime to make sure it gets the right promotion to push it over the top,” said Jah Innocent.
Jah Innocent is currently busy in the studios working on some new projects. “The next two new songs that I plan to release are ‘My Blessings’ and ‘Fall and Rise’. The videos for both songs have already been shot and edited. I am excited about these two songs, and I plan to drop them both before the end of this summer.”
Jah Innocent, whose given name is Christopher Nembhard is a past student at May Day High School. He launched his recording career with a song titled ‘Think They Could a Get Me Down’ which was produced by Ryan Roberts aka Blaze and released on the 3R Production label in 2009.
