Dancehall artiste Ikeed is amped up about his new single titled ‘Loyal Kruff’. The song which was co-produced by Deki Records, Rapid Production and Real Money Entertainment was released on October 3.
“My team and I are confident that this song has the potential to be a huge hit. Since it was released, we’ve been getting tremendous feedback about it from DJs and fans all over the world. We’re pleased with the response it’s getting, and we plan to keep the momentum going with consistent promotion,” said the artiste.
The Kingston-born deejay who lists Jah Snow Cone, Jam Master AL and Bobsie Twitch (Crystal Sound) among his musical idols is determined to become a force to be reckoned with in dancehall music.
“At this moment in time I am one of the maddest lyricists in dancehall music, I am a versatile artiste in addition to being a talented deejay; I also have good engineering skills and I do my own graphics. Right now, I am working overtime to achieve my big break in the music biz. I know it won’t be long before I am counted among the best in dancehall music,” said Ikeed.
He is currently busy in the studio working on projects for various producers including Chuckie Daley and Flex (Daley Works Entertainment) and Quincy Din Records. “I’m doing some serious work with Chuckie, Flex and Quincy in the studio. We’re working on some new singles, and I am also recording songs for a project that I plan to release next year.”
Ikeed given name Fabian Clarke, originally hails from the Red Hills area of Kingston. He launched his recording career in 2022 with the release of a single titled ‘Winner’ which was produced by Deki Records. Some of his other songs are ‘Buss a Blank’ featuring Capleton and Sizzla, ‘Set Trend’ and ‘Suicide’.
