Dancehall artiste Hype Type aka Zion Boss is pleased with the response to his recently released single titled ‘All Bout’.
The song which was produced by him was released along with a video on his Zion City Records imprint on May 21, since then it has been receiving strong rotation both locally and abroad.
“I am very happy about the response that this song is receiving, it is getting a lot of support from DJs in Jamaica, the US, Africa, Europe, and England. The video is also doing well on YouTube,” said the artiste.
The Florida-based deejay says the song was inspired by things he observed happening in society.
“This song was inspired by many things I see going on in society nowadays. It’s like most of the people have lost their morals. When I look on social media and see some of the things that people are posting I have to wonder if the entire world is going crazy, all I see is madness and confusion,” he said.
Hype Type recently teamed up with Terry Linen and Little Hero to record two new singles.
“I recently recorded a single titled ‘Low Life’ featuring Terry Linen for Tads Records and I also recorded one with Little Hero titled Peace; both songs will be released later this year. I will be visiting the island before the end of the month to shoot videos for both songs.”
He has also joined forces with Highway Records to work on three upcoming projects including his debut album, an EP, and a mixtape. All three projects are slated to be released before the end of the year.
