Follow Your Dreams with Zale

Dream big and ignore the naysayers is the message behind ‘Don’t Stifle Dreaming’ by singer-songwriter Zale. Recently released, the song encourages young people, especially, to make hay while the sun shines.

Zale wrote and produced ‘Don’t Stifle Dreaming’.

“I feel like so many people I talk to have a dream but chose a more ‘realistic’ path. Or so many people aren’t really fulfilled but just going through the motions. And I’ve just always wished more people could follow their dreams and that more people were encouraged to try,” he said. “So that’s what this song is; it’s to light a fire in people that inspires them to go for the life they truly want.”

From Spanish Town, Jamaica’s first capital, Zale was raised on the ‘oldies’ his mother listened to while cleaning house. As well as the songs of Bob Marley, Junior Gong. Erykah Badu and Ed Sheeran.

‘Don’t Stifle Dreaming’ reflects those eclectic influences, which can also be heard on his earlier songs which include ‘Journey’ and ‘Sunday’.

His latest song is a sign of things to come.

“I have been recording and producing many songs that I can’t wait to start releasing soon. The second half of 2026 will be very active for me in terms of releases,” said Zale.
