Dancehall artiste Ffurious has been jubilant since he debuted at the recently held Reggae Sumfest music festival. The talented deejay who is a member of the David House Crew was invited on stage by his mentor and David House Crew leader, Capleton who closed night one of Sumfest.
The two St. Mary-born deejays added more sparks to what was already a red-hot performance when they performed their 2022 collab, ‘Unstoppable’, which was produced by Great X Productions.
“This was a very huge moment in my career, and I give thanks to Capleton for calling me on stage during his set to perform our single together. The response from the audience in morning was very positive and I am thankful for their support. It’s my first appearance on the Sumfest stage and I am sure it won’t be the last,” he said.
The soft-spoken entertainer says he is confident that next year he’ll be one of the featured acts at the popular annual music festival.
“Although I only performed one song the response from the crowd was very good. Also, when I came off stage several members of the Sumfest team expressed their appreciation for my performance. So, I’m very confident that as long as I keep putting in the work next year I’ll be booked for the festival,” said Ffurious.
He is currently promoting two singles, ‘Rasta Goodness’ and ‘Cup Full’.
“These two songs are getting a lot of airplays both locally and overseas. They are also streaming well online. I’m going to drop the video for Cup Full before the end of the month.” Ffurious is booked to perform in Washington DC in August and Florida in September.
