Dancehall artiste Ffurious is currently enjoying a huge buzz with his new single titled ‘Waste Man’. The song which was produced by Great X Production was released on November 10. Since then, it has been creating quite a stir online and in the streets.
“When I recorded this song, I didn’t intend to cause any controversy. However, it seems as if Khago feels offended because I mention his name in the song. Everywhere I go a lot of people have been telling me that he is upset because he believes that I wrote this song to hit out against him, but I want him to understand that the song is hitting out against negativity. I am a Rastafarian, and anything negative that try to test Rasta a go get bun up,” said Ffurious in a no-nonsense tone.
The firebrand deejay who is a member of Capleton’s David House crew was in fine form when he performed at the recently held Fyah In Da Ville stage show in Negril.
“I had an awesome time performing in Negril the people showed me a lot of love. Every song I delivered including the new ones such as ‘Rasta Goodness’ and ‘Waste Man’ received a positive response from the crowd. I gave the people an exciting performance and they showed their appreciation,” he said.
Before his appearance in Negril Ffurious completed a month-long promotional tour of the New York Tristate area which included several media interviews. He also performed to a full house which included celebrities such as supermodel Camille McDonald, Hip Hop producer Swizz Beats and rapper/actor Common at Miss Lily’s in Manhattan.
“While I was in New York I was able to network with several producers and promoters and members of the media. I performed at Miss Lily’s in New York, and I also did some shows in New Jersey and Connecticut,” he said.
