Don G Shows Faith in Career

‘Faith Moves Mountains’ is the title of Don G’s first album, scheduled for release this year. It is being produced by JamBerchem Empire; a company based in Luxembourg where the Jamaican artist has been based since 2017.

The album is expected to have 15 songs and will be available following what Don G describes as a fulfilling 2023. He kept busy by recording and doing promotional tours of the United Kingdom and Nigeria in October.

“For Don G, 2023 was an extremely good year, I can’t complain. It was the year my career kick on a different level, and it turn a different page,” he said.

In the UK, the singjay did mainly radio interviews as well as “meet and greet” events aimed at “getting the people to know more and what Don G is all about.”

Much of his stay in Nigeria was spent in Lagos, the capital. Don G performed at the Felabration 2023 Festival in honor of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti and promoted his songs on local radio stations.

Prior to the release of ‘Faith Moves Mountains’, Don G plans to put out songs such as ‘Free’ and ‘African Stand Firm’.

Established in 2008, JamBerchem Empire has worked with a number of Jamaican dancehall artists including Charly Black, Future Fambo and Kalado. The label has also collaborated with Vincentian singer Kevin Lyttle, best known for the 2003 hit song, ‘Turn me on’.
