Celena Embraces Life’s Highs and Lows in Reflective Track “Bless Me

Celena is back with another hit, blessing fans with her soulful new track, ‘Bless Me’.” Following the success of her vibrant release ‘Tun it Up’, Celena’s latest offering shifts the mood, bringing a powerful message of self-reflection and resilience.

“‘Bless Me’ is more of a self-reflection and a prayer of supplication,” Celena shared. “I wanted to create something with soul and depth, allowing myself to be vulnerable, admit my mistakes, and connect with my audience authentically.”

With heartfelt lyrics, Celena reflects on life’s challenges and the importance of taking time to find inner peace. “When life brings you down, sometimes you need to step back and spend quality time with yourself,” she explained. “This song encourages me to embrace my highs and lows, trust the process, and make room for my manifestations.”

The track is beautifully complemented by an eclectic reggae beat, produced by Shakim, who was inspired by Bob Marley’s timeless hit “Jammin.” “When Celena told me she wanted a reggae vibe with a specific message, I immediately thought of that driving rhythm,” Shakim revealed. “I created a drum track similar to ‘Jammin,’ but faster, and combined it with a 70s-style reggae sample, adding horns and a bass line to capture that authentic sound.”

In addition to releasing ‘Bless Me’, Celena is making waves with three nominations at the inaugural Reggae North Music Awards, which celebrates reggae and dancehall in Canada. “I’m so proud and thrilled that my music is being recognized,” she said. This follows her first Juno nomination in 2023 for Reggae Recording of the Year with ‘Like a Star’,” cementing her place in the Canadian music scene.

With new projects on the horizon and her summer performances keeping her vocals sharp, Celena’s star continues to rise. Fans can expect even more from this talented artist as she forges ahead in her journey of creativity and growth. Stay tuned!
