Bram’s Ready for the Spotlight

Reggae/dancehall artiste Brams is looking forward to a bright future in music.

“Although I am not from a musical family, I believe I was born to be an entertainer. When I was a little boy, I used to sing in the yard and people passing by would stop and give my mother money. Since those early days, I’ve always dreamed of becoming a successful recording artiste. Now, I am on the path to realize my dreams and I am not giving up,” said the artiste.

The St. Catherine-born deejay who lists Bob Marley, Tracey Chapman, Mad Cobra, and Baby Wayne among his musical influences is confident that he has what it takes to be an international music star.

“I am bringing real authentic music that can inspire and entertain people worldwide. My goal is to make dancehall music into a global force many people argue and say it is already popular internationally, but I want it to be just as big as Rock, Pop Music, and Country Music, said Brams.

Brams is currently promoting his new single and video titled I’m ‘Sorry’. The song which was produced by Streetsix Classic was released in March.

“I’m pleased with the response that my new single is getting. I’m grateful to all the DJs who are playing it both locally and overseas and all the fans who are streaming it.”

Brams given name Ronald Smith is a past student at Jose Marti High School. He launched his recording in 2016 with the release of a single titled ‘Nah Pretend’ on True Talent Records.
