Koulie Teams up With Sizzla on Remake of Jacob Miller Classic

Reggae music newcomer Richard “Koulie” Glass IV intends to make a positive and lasting impact on the world with his music, which he has described as vibrant and creative.

The Miami-born singer recently teamed up with Reggae legend Sizzla Kalonji on the track ‘Rockers’, a remake of Jacob Miller’s reggae classic ‘We A Rockers’.

The song which was produced by Paul Kastick was released in July, by Groove Gallore Muzik and Vpal Music, ‘Rockers’ is already enjoying plenty of airplay both locally and internationally.  The track is Koulie’s first official studio release since his mother inspired him to pursue music professionally.

“My style is roots, rock, reggae. The Most High Jah gives the ability and talent. I grandfather, and I mother inspired I to pursue music as a career,” declared the artiste.

Koulie adds that his style is original and that, his lyrics are driven by passion and a desire to see a brighter future.

“I would love to see Reggae music on top again how it should be, so I is ensuring that my messages in music are original and positive to help create a brighter future,” he said, while adding that he is currently in studios working on another single.

Though his professional career is relatively new, Koulie has been bagging positive responses to his music ever since he began performing at local Vibes nightclub in Decatur, GA, USA, when he was only 16.

The conscious reggae singer was born to businessman and guitarist Richard Glass III, and former Harmony House recording artiste Jackie “Timi” Lynch, and background vocalist for reggae icon Beres Hammond.
