Dancehall artiste Premo JA recently released a thought-provoking new single titled Cold World featuring Maxxjetblac.
According to the artiste the song was inspired by real-life events.
“Everything that Maxxjetblac and I sing about in this song is based on our firsthand experiences or observations. This world is indeed a very cold place I’ve seen friends switch up on me out of greed and envy. Often, it’s the one’s closest to you that hurt you.”
He continued, “When I came up with the idea for this song, I wrote the punchline and the first two verses, but I wanted to add another perspective. So, I reached out to my good friend Maxxjetblac to add another verse to it.”
Maxxjetblac says he believes that Cold World has the potential to be a summer hit.
“This song has all the right ingredients; to be a summer anthem, it has potent lyrics and a hypnotic rhythm. It’s the kind of song that makes you think deeply about human nature and the brevity of life when you listen to it. I strongly believe it will resonate with dancehall music lovers worldwide,” he said.
