Dancehall artiste Prohgres is in an upbeat mood as he promotes his new single titled ‘Days Like These’.
The song which is a joint production between 1family Records, DJ Treasure Music, and Real Live Records was released on August 25. “I love the response this new song is getting right. It has been out less than a week now and it is already generating a lot of buzz in the streets. People keep telling me it’s going to be a hit everywhere I go,” he said.
Prohgres said the song is a reflection of his journey in life and music. “I was in Dinesty King’s studio listening to the rhythm when I got the inspiration to write this song. I used details from my journey to write it. I hope it will encourage everyone who hears it to push through the darkness and go forward in life. We all struggle at times but it’s important to remember that brighter days are up ahead.
The video for ‘Days Like These’ was filmed in Falmouth in Trelawny and various locations in Kingston including Red Hills, Drewsland and Downtown Kingston.
“I love this video because it helps to highlight the message of the song. Hats off to the director Kreatmassive for working with me to bring my ideas to life on film for this project. He did an awesome job.”
The hardworking singjay is gearing up to hit the road in October for a month-long tour of England. He’s also working on several new projects including an album that is slated to be released before the end of the year.
