‘Global World Peace’, a compilation album released on September 1, contains 12 roots-reggae songs celebrating international milestones. The project is produced by DJ Paradise.
It is the British artist’s most ambitious venture to date, following the well-received song, ‘Very Royal’, by Jamaican singjay Jah Clarity, which was released in 2024.
“What I had in mine before the production began was to make great reggae music that could reach the four corners of the Earth which would then bring global world peace,” said DJ Paradise.
Among those songs are ‘Fight for Jah Love’ by veteran singer Little Roy, best known for classic songs like ‘Tribal War’ and ‘Prophesy’. ‘Fight For Love’, along with Queen Ifrica’s ‘Everyone Wants Love’ were released on August 1 to celebrate Emancipation Day in Jamaica.
They were followed eight days later by ‘Jamaica Warning’ by Jah Clarity, ‘We Survive’ by Jah Tiff, Mitsy June’s ‘World Peace’ and
‘Peace In the World’ by Sista Zeal. Those songs marked International Day of The World’s Indigenous People.
Another round of releases came on September 19 with ‘World Ah Cry’ featuring Ras Strika and Tasha Love, which commemorated 80 years since the end of World War II.
DJ Paradise was born in London to Jamaican parents. Prior to going into music production, he made his reputation as a musician, audio engineer and artist.
