Canada based production company 7 Gate Record recently released a hot new dancehall project titled ‘Paradise rhythm’.
The nine-track project which features songs from several artistes affiliated with the label including Keywee, JRDN, Tina B, Fully Bad, Cashwayne, Legato, Grantie Asher, Planky Don and Hummingbird Leleh was released in February.
“7 Gate Record is an international record label and production company. Therefore, we always aim to do top quality projects with talented artistes from various parts of the world. This project is a perfect example of our vision, it features artistes from Jamaica, Canada, the US, Africa, and England,” said the label’s CEO George Welcome.
He also revealed that 7 Gate Record is gearing up to release an EP for Keywee who is signed to label, later this year.
“We started the label in 2018 to develop and expose talented new artistes. Since then, we’ve never strayed from this mission. We’re currently in the process of completing Keywee’s debut EP. The entire team is excited about this project and we’re anticipating a great response from music lovers worldwide when it comes out.”
He added, “As the company continues to grow, we plan to continue working with the artistes who are signed or affiliated to our label. However also we plan to do projects with some of bigger names in dancehall and reggae music including Vybz Kartel and Ginjah.”
George Welcome is the founder and CEO of 7 Gate Record. He is also the owner of the popular Toronto based sound system called Quantum.
